Dual threaded Lag Screws or hanger bolts are sturdy fasteners typically used to connect heavy lumber or other heavy materials that are bearing an intense load. The dual thread provides secure fixing point once fastened into various types of timber. Lag screws can be driven in using 2 hex nuts in a locking configuration with a powered drill.
