The Reduced Shank Drill Bit has a 118 split point which is better for drilling into pilot holes. It has 3 flat areas on the shank which helps prevent slippage in the chuck. The black and bright finish assists chip flow & heat dissipation. This drill bit is a full length ground from a single piece of HSS which eliminates breakage.
