Pan Head Type 17 Screws are the ideal choice for when a low profile professional look. This screw is for fixing into timber. The long sharp self drilling point with a flute (Type 17) cuts the timber fibres as it screwed in. The timber fibres are collected in the flute which reduce the potential of splitting.
