Wafer Head Type 17 Screws are suitable for fixing into timber. The Wafer Head is a versatile head style with an aesthetic, low profile finish. The long sharp self drilling point with a flute (Type 17) cuts the timber fibres as it screwed in. The timber fibres are collected in the flute which reduce the potential of splitting.
